Went out to Sam’s Club with Dad yesterday and we had to stop by PetSmart. Bad idea! I made an impulse buy and got me a betta fish and little tank for my desk. LOL! They had so many to choose from, and I thought it would be a neat, inexpensive little creature to watch while I work… well, assuming I get the job, but that is more good news as now they have contacted me to do a background check! So I am pretty sure the job is in the bag! A fish tank to look at is so relaxing and tranquil! Great for a job environment!
Anyway, I got a real pretty betta and a little starter tank. But after researching more, I decided I didn’t like the tank (too small and not enough features), so I got a little bigger one with hood light and filter. He may just be a fish, but I want him to be a happy fish! Also got him some pelleted fish food (he did not like flakes) and some freeze dried bloodworms which he LOVES.
So here is a pic of the little fella in his first efficiency apartment. He will be moving into his 1-bedroom size tonight. Hehehe!
Not a very clear pic, he is blue and red. Like I said his name is Mr. Limpet, for those of you who think “what a silly name”… it is after the classic Don Knotts movie “The Incredible Mr. Limpet” where he dreams of turning into his loved fish, and it happens.
