Happy New Year! 2011!

Another year gone, I can’t believe it! 2010 in some ways seemed to fly by, yet in other ways seemed way too long. It wasn’t really my favorite of years. Too much loss of pets, to many health problems, too much drama with my little brother that I care NOT to go in to. From my past blog entries you will see that I have many things to hopefully look forward to in 2011, and it is always exciting to have something to look forward to!

Mom is still sick. She may be SLIGHTLY better, but not by much. I really hope she gets over this soon because I hate seeing her so out of breath all the time. She is beginning to feel the pneumonia a bit more due to the breathing treatments, so it may get a bit worse before it gets better because once that stuff starts breaking up, she will start coughing for sure.

Our New Years Eve was really low-key around here. We literally did NOTHING. All I did was watch the ball drop on TV, but I’d rather do that than be out amongst all the crazies! Man! I am getting OLD! LOL!

I still haven’t heard anything regarding my background check for the job I applied for. I really hope I hear something on Monday!

BUT! 2011has already started off very good for me. I draw a Social Security disability check and recently qualified for the State to pay my Medicare premiums and they owed me back pay (which I didn’t hold my breath for). Today I checked my bank account and had my check, plus another check for the back pay and it was pretty significant in size!! Happy New Year to me!! I have a good feeling about this year and I hope this is an indication of what is to come in 2011!
